ReactingPlanning

Turning financial data into confident decisions.

Profitable on paper.
Miserable to own.

Revenue is up again this year. So are your hours.

And nobody has ever sat down and told you whether the business is actually getting better — or just bigger.

How it usually happens

Nobody plans to trade their freedom for a bigger job.

  1. You started this for the freedom.

Something of your own. Your terms, your ceiling, your call on how the days got spent. And at the start you could hold the whole thing in your head, every customer and every job and what was left at the end of it.

  2. Then it grew — which is exactly what you wanted.

More customers. More crew. More invoices, more equipment, more people depending on you. Every one of them a good sign. Together, they made the business harder to see.

  3. And the questions stopped going away.

Not whether you were busy. You knew you were busy. The one that actually kept you up: am I building a business, or just a harder job for myself?

  4. This is where we come in

It was never the effort. Or the ambition. It was never knowing.

  5. We make the business visible again.

Numbers you can trust, explained in plain English, and a straight answer about what they mean for the decision actually in front of you.

  6. And the business starts giving back the freedom you built it for.

What we work on

The questions we help you answer.

Not one of them is answered by a tidier spreadsheet.

Can I afford another employee?
HIRING
Should I raise prices?
PRICING
Why is revenue growing while cash stays tight?
CASH FLOW
Where is my profit actually coming from?
MARGIN
Can I safely invest in new equipment?

What should I pay myself?

Why this happens

You're not missing information. You're missing a translation.

Most owners already have data. Many have reports. Some have bookkeepers. Very few have anyone helping them turn any of it into a decision.

A bookkeeper
Records transactions.
A CPA
Prepares taxes.
Numbers Without The Noise
Helps you understand what the numbers mean and decide what to do next.

Both are worth having. Neither one's job is to sit down with you and work out the next move.

The difference

You already have the data. What you're missing is the meaning.

The noise you get now

  • 147 uncategorized transactions
  • P&L exported to a PDF nobody reads
  • "Ask your accountant in April"
  • A bank balance that doesn't match your gut
  • Reports built for the IRS, not for you

The signal you get from NWN

  • What last month actually meant — not just what it recorded.
  • Which work is worth more of your time, and which quietly isn't.
  • Whether the decision in front of you is one you can afford.
  • The one thing worth your attention this month. Not twenty.
  • What to do next — and the reasoning behind it.
In practice

What that sounds like in a real month.

LaborYour labor costs are rising faster than revenue.
HiringYou can safely hire another technician.
ProfitThree customers generate most of your profit.
Cash flowCash will get tight in November — here's the plan.
PricingOne pricing adjustment could meaningfully improve your margins.
What you get

What changes for you.

The four parts of the relationship

Financial foundation

Clean, dependable bookkeeping that keeps your financial information accurate.

Business guidance

Monthly conversations focused on smarter decisions, not just reports.

Cash flow

Know what's coming before it becomes a problem.

Growth planning

Hiring, pricing, profitability and expansion, with confidence.

Why I built this

Reports weren't the missing piece.

I kept meeting owners who worked harder every year and still felt uncertain about their own business.

They weren't short on information. They had reports, software, spreadsheets. Some had bookkeepers. The numbers existed.

What was missing was anyone sitting down with them to say what those numbers actually meant, and what to do about it.

More reports were never going to fix that. So I built the thing I kept wishing they already had.

A business should work for its owner — not the other way around.

How it works

And this is how we'd work together.

  1. STEP 01Week one

    Understand your business

We learn how you actually make money, and what you want the business to do for your life.

Because every owner is building toward something different.
  2. STEP 02Weeks two to eight

Build a foundation you can trust

Good advice depends on good information, so we make the financial picture complete and dependable.

Because you can't decide with confidence on numbers you don't trust.
  3. STEP 03Every month after

    Turn numbers into decisions

Each month we help you understand what changed, why it changed, and what deserves your attention next.

Because a report on its own has never changed a business.
  4. STEP 04Over time

    Grow with confidence

Better information, better calls, and a business that gets stronger instead of just busier.

    Because clarity compounds.

The bigger question

Is your business an asset — or a demanding job you own?

A business that runs on your back, with numbers only you half-understand, is a job.

One with clean books, known margins and decisions on record is an asset — something a bank will lend against and a buyer will someday pay for.

Take the 5-minute assessment

You started this for the freedom.
Let's go get it back.

Success brought complexity. Complexity brought uncertainty. None of that means you built the wrong thing. It means the business outgrew the way you were watching it.

The Health Check is thirty minutes to look at that honestly: what's genuinely working, what's creating uncertainty you don't need to be carrying, and where a clearer picture would change the most. It isn't an accounting appointment.
